About the Artist
Gisseline Amiuny (Caracas, Venezuela) studied Architecture for two years, and then, dedicated herself to art, design and decoration.
Her artwork is based on constructivism, geometric, kinetic and optic art. In her own words, she uses lines, curves, and geometric forms as means of expression.
Her research is nourished by her studies of light, shadows and reflections of geometric forms that interact with different materials.
The artist has been featured in more than thirty collective international exhibitions (Colombia, El Salvador, Spain, United States, Peru and France). We may find her work in permanent collections at Contemporary Art Museum of Barquisimeto, Venezuela and at the Museum of Geometric and MADI Art Dallas, Texas.
Gisseline Amiuny lives and works in Liverpool, England.
