About the artist
Corina Höher (Caracas, Venezuela,1986) she graduated from the International University of Art and Design, earning a Bachelor degree in art.
She is a young representative of optic art. She studies color as a scientific phenomenon and bases her research in the changing and unstable phenomenon of Carlos Cruz-Diez. Through repetitive geometric compositions, she attempts to produce the events that modify the space-time perception from the spectator’s point of view.
Her pieces activates by the look and position of the spectator generating a set of visual waves, which provide a virtual movement in constant mutation.
